Based in Grande Champagne near Segonzac, the RABY family has owned its vineyard for four generations. Gérard and his daughter Cécile today operate 40 hectares of vines planted on very limestone hillsides for which the wine is famous. The RABY house produces cognac, pineau, wine and liqueur in accordance with tradition and with a constant demand for quality. For the record, the building which houses the cellar was formerly an outbuilding of the Logis de la Brée, home of the Knight of the Cross Maron, who according to legend was at the origin of double distillation.
