Since 1730, the vineyard was transmitted through family ties and in 1971, Jean-Luc inherits the estate from his uncle Albert. As early as 1977, the JL PASQUET brand was launched, offering cognacs ranging from four years old up to the very old and very rare "Oncle Albert" of 80 years old. After 22 years of conventional cultivation, Jean-Luc and Marie-Françoise discovered the practices of organic farming and very quickly seduced, after a year of trying, the entire vineyard was converted to organic, efforts concretized by the AB label in 1998. Their son Jean will naturally take over from his parents in 2011, with the same passion, the same convictions and with the complicity of his wife Amy.
