The 20 hectares property is in Angeac in Grande Champagne and is exclusively planted with ugni-blanc. Bertrand and Sabine took over the estate from an uncle more than 20 years ago and have gradually modernised it while patiently learning the trade without ever becoming discouraged. While one of the boilers is gas-fired, the second has been wood-fired since 1935.
It is with this boiler that Raison Personnelle cognac is produced at the rate of one cask per season. Atypical and confidential XO cognacs that will delight connoisseurs.
