After a tasting last month of several paradise cognacs from François VOYER on the theme of blending, Pierre Vaudon this time offers us a very informative tasting on the vintages.

 

If VOYER cognacs are in Grande Champagne, the Cognac VAUDON brand focuses on another “cru”: Fins Bois, the greatest vintage in the region.

Carried by a surface hard limestone (silicified) clay soil of the groie type, this vintage brings strength and sweetness to the cognacs and develops spicy and liquorice notes very early.

Six cognacs will be tasted comparatively in the VSOP, XO and EXTRA categories.
